Hacking Was/Is There a New System Update?

my 3ds is nagging me to update. I'm on 11.0.0-33 with luma installed (a9lh). is this normal? what should I do?

I'm not having that issue, but I know for a fact that there's no new update out; you're on the latest firmware version.

By nagging, you mean on the home menu? Or when you try to go online?

it happened on the home menu. it asked if I'd like to install the system update.

Then you probably don't have them. Do you have a firmware.bin file inside the Luma folder?

You guys mean the latest hourly, right? I didn't know Luma had nightly builds; I was led to believe it was hourly only....

You get update nags if you have system titles with a mismatching version. (Usually from modifying) the 3DS basically just wants to fix it and asks you to "update".

On an unrelated note: does anyone have Ideas why my o3DS (10.7) always throws an error after about 15% if I want to update to 11.0?

That's like saying "well, you've got a decently reliable bullet-proof vest on; so come over here and I'll shoot you with a Desert Eagle!" While you are wearing the bullet-proof vest, that doesn't necessarily mean it's a good idea to do anything rash simply because of the fact. Correct me if I'm wrong, but boot ROM bricks are not recoverable with A9LH (at least, I think so). Just so you all know.
