Hacking R4 Problem

Hi! My problem is: I've 2 R4, the first is the R4 revolution for ds and the second is the R4i v.1.4.1. I installed in my emunand the TWL_FIRM from that iso site, and the R4 stage2 launcher, but both R4 doesn't work. Can anyone help me?

Same here with an R4i Upgrade v1.4.3 (same family as your 2nd one, from r4i-sdhc.com). I've noticed that a few people can't manage to get similar cards to work as well (reading Apache Thunder's thread, either no answers or unsuccessful experiments).

No EmuNAND, just updated SysNAND (10.7E, Luma3DS 5.4, with the TWL_FIRM from that same site).

From my side, what I tried so far:

• Using TTDS Stage2 Launcher on the 3DS and TTMenu on the flashcart (from DSTT_Launcher.rar)
• Trying the above with the R4i Gold Launcher
• Renaming TTMenu.dat to R4.dat and retrying with both launchers
• Trying with DSTTMoonshell2 Launcher
• Changing the date back to 2011
• Retrying with R4.dat and TTMenu.dat on R4i Gold Launcher and TTDS Launcher
• Removing TTMenu and putting back the original menu that is available on r4i-sdhc.com, then trying with R4i Gold Launcher and TTDS Launcher

TTDS Launcher stays on the loading screen (same effect when no cartridge is inserted at all) and R4i Gold Launcher stays on white screen.

I feel your frustration.

I had the same problem, it takes a bunch of tries just be patient. Try formatting the micro sd to fat if you have fat32, this seems to make it work sometimes for me

I already formatted both micro sd, but keep saying "An error has occurred". The 3ds doesn't even read the r4i, only the r4.

What about sysnand?

Also, which Cfw, I originally had problems but only after switching to cakesfw from rxtools and messing around with various patched twl_firm and launchers did I get it working.

I believe at a minimum the launcher has to be.

I don't know, I'm starting to think that my r4s are too old, I must try multiple times for make them working on a normal ds too.

You have to have not only the TWL installed but you need to have the launcher installed on both sys and emunand. Dsiware, like gba games, need to be on the sysnand for it to work on emunand

And my r4 is old also, all the orginals are old. I think that you haven't done one of the things I just said but as long as you have kept it in relatively ok condition then it should work. I have everything set up correct and I still have a low boot rate.
