For everyone experiencing problems with Tubehax DNS, it's down, Mtheall's server isn't online.

EDIT: You are safe for updates, as you can't connect to the internet at all.
Works again since last edit.

Wow so Tubehax DNS not only blocks updates while it's enabled and active, but it also blocks updates when it's down. That's something interesting, I guess it NEVER fails to protect. Some users say it isn't 100% reliable, I feel like it is.

Yes, that is true. You do get full protection that way atleast.

If you guys knew how to block IP addresses from your router, which can be set up through Parental Controls, then you can go online while still being able to not download any updates for the system.
