Tutorial  Updated

I have system menu version X, what can I do?

This is a quick summary of the things that can be done on different system versions, since lots of newcomers have asked about what they can do with their 3DS consoles. The information refers to sysNAND running on E, U, and J regions, as other regions may have different exploit properties. Supported exploits are in green, unsupported in red, and partially-supported are in orange. Ones that haven't been filled in are ones I'm not too sure about, if anyone has the answers or spots any errors then please let me know so I can update this table.

It may be good to add the new svchax stuff and downgrade capabilities for everything up to 10.6 without a hardmod.

Edit this cuz now we can downgrade from 10.6/10.5/10.4
@NekoMichi refer to my guide for the full process

have I got this wrong?
since when do browserhax and menuhax work on 10.3-10.5?
Since yellows8 figured out that if you set your date and time to 1 Jan 2000 the browser doesn't get blocked.

Also, the downgrade part should be updated with the updated version of memchunkhax.

So I have an unmodified 9.9 2ds. What can I do with this? It seems like everything I've tried requires a previous hack. I'm new to this so sorry

[Update]
Added information for the new 11.0.0-33 system update, but need confirmation from users in case some parts are wrong.
Also looking into which system version OTP dumping was patched as my table might be wrong (credit: @ArturDat3DS )
OTP dumping was patched from 3.0 up. Also Oothax still works but is still kinda wonky. CN is patched though for now.

Notes:
1. In 11.0.0-33, Ninjhax and OoTHax have lost http:C/soc:U access, preventing automatic downloading of appropriate payloads for the Homebrew Launcher. [source]

Smashhax doesn't work on 11.0, all SALT hax work.

Can you update with 11.1 firmware , 11.0/11.1 hardmod / dsiwarehax downgrading , OTPLess , stickerhax , etc... pleaese ?

Not clear: what version are you on, and what version do you want to get?

If you already installed a9lh, and your cfw has kernel partition write protection (all modern ones do but it may be optional) updating is as safe as on an unmodified console!

If you haven't completed the guide yet and are on 11.0, you may update for the system transfer if you want to use dsiware downgrade, because stickerhax will also work on 11.1 fine! Or you can use ctr-httpwn to receive a transfer on 11.0, but I'm not sure. The guide will explain that anyway :)

No , i want to say "update the guide"

@NekoMichi
Browserhax and Menuhax work till 11.0
Maybe you should make a "Note #2" in 11.0 and 11.1 Downgrading since it's possible to do it, but only with a hardmod or DSi-Downgrading
