Homebrew Update 11.0 and Homebrew

I guess A9LH on The Pokemon N3DS is my next step... Just wonder if its all dead now.

No dude, the theme 'cache'. Its one of the crazy number folders you were talking about. Thats where menuhax is installed. In fact, now that I think about it. When you took the sd out and put it back in you could have just set another theme and it would have fixed it. Then all you had to do was reinstall an updated menuhax, or downgrade back to where you were. Your files would and such would have been fine.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard you can't downgrade on vanilla firmware (meaning the latest update, on an unmodded 3ds). I haven't tried myself, it's just what I heard.

The name of the cahe folder depends on your region. In the Nintendo 3ds folder do a search for..
US it's a folder named 000002cd
Jpn 000002cc
Eur 000002ce

Update works fine for me on my N3DSXL using A9LH+Aureinand using Sysnand.

Delete the whole folder.

ok. but now then...how do i add the new data i already got on the 3ds into this data without it colliding into a corruption apocalypse? cause i already have data within HWL,DLCdata within hwl,My nintendo picross tp, various themesand junk in homebrew and to top it all off,custom badgedata currently in useand a slight more up to dte system firmware.. 10.7 currently...

I don't think SD name effects anything.

Yeah, when I ascended to SysNAND/A9LH from MenuHax/EmuNAND, I renamed my SD kissmyassnintendo, and it hasn't effected anything.

this is now a problem since currently, oothax seems to not work on 11.0 atm(from what i heard)and if i go back to the original data,i will have to update the system to get the season pass again,redownload My nintendo tp picross,redownload various dlc characters for smashbros,reinstall my badges from badge arcade as it will see them as corrupt and unusableuntil i do so...then oothax won't work until a new payload comes out (will have to move every bit of the homebrew data to the original data later once a payload is made to work with 11.0..)

Yes that is correct but that isn't what was asked. The question was whether downgrading emunand from 11.0 to 2.1 (to get the otp) is still possible. The 2.1 downgrade part uses PlaiSysUpdater.cia according to the guide.

Didn't even know you could get the otp file from a emunand 2.1. Thought it had to be a sysnand 2.1
