Hello everyone.

I was fairly proficient with Wii hacking back in the day, but WiiU hacking is new to me.

I'm using a European Wii U with 5.5.1. I'm doing the following:

- SD Card formatted to FAT32
- Has the following folder structure (including the 5.5.1 hack files)

* data
* loaders
* payloads
* wiiu (subfolders: apps/games)

1) Launch loadline.ovh via the internet browser
2) Tried both:

a) Launch caffiiene SD exploit. Works succesfully, then launch homebrew browser > loadiine (or straight to loadiine). Launch game, black screen.
b) Launch homebrew browser > loadiine. Launch game, black screen.

3) Using miimaker game mode. The compatibility list says it's supported for the games i'm trying.
4) Tried the latest github release of loadiine gx and a few revisions back just to be sure.

Games i've tried: New Super Luigi U, Yoshi's Wolly World.

Could it be that loadiine.ovh is only supported for USA consoles? It seems to invoke the kexploit31 exploit, rather than the kexploit10 required by european consoles (if i've read this correctly). I've followed a lot of tutorials, googled etc but very little info comes up for the black screen on launch issue.

Any tips for this frustrated gamer ?

Thanks so much in advance.

What you should have done :

First : SELFHOSTTTTTTTTTTT

or
Go in wj44.ml

1) Launch kernel10 exploit (or 0x10000000)
2) Launch Loadiine GX2

Hey. Thanks for the info.

So selfhosting is the way to go eh? I'm on a Mac, so I figure I can get this up and running with a MAMP (https://www.mamp.info/en/) local server and such? I'm proficient with this stuff as this is i'm a programmer. I guess I chose the ready to go option first to save myself some time.

Could you elaborate on the "or" option? Thanks again

EDIT: NVM about the elaboration for option b, I see it's a website. Gotcha :)

I'll give these options a go and report back.

I had the same problemen upon launching a game. (European WiiU)

What I had to do:

In the folder of the game where it happened to me (Captain Toad Treasure Tracker), I had to change the folders names from "USen" to "EUen" etc and after that the game started.

The location in Treasure Tracker was "content" - "LocalizedData"

Maybe the games that you want to play have a similar folder that needs adjustment?

Right, so thanks to NexoCubes advice, it works!

Luigi U does anyway...

Yoshis woolly world freezes at the controller screen (the controls are still wobbling, but it never moves past that screen). Ideas?

Nope :P Try and retry xDD

Or if you use self-hosting : Use the nightly build on dimok github.
