EA will be revealing the latest entry in the Battlefield series today, at 3PM CST/9PM GMT. As a bonus leading up to the big reveal, a couple of DICE developers will go through each game in the Battlefield series, as a retrospective. It's been teased that Battlefield 5 will be a return to a "militaristic setting":

They needed to try something different, and having a strange alternate WW1 game is certainly that. I just wish it didn't have the particle and blue-hue blurriness going on that's been trending in the series. I'd love to see a sharp, more realistic feeling Battlefield that runs and looks great rather than the cartoony-ish, blurry light-flare shenanigans.

Judging by this image I suppose the light flare and blue overtone is here to stay, though haha. Just my personal preference.

The COD trailer was better imo. And the hype that is surrounding this reveal is kind of cringeworthy. All this for a trailer? Really? Kind of makes me a little worried they need to create so much hype for the game.
