Now that the kexploit leaked. Does that mean that we have now a better chance of finding an IOSU exploit?

I know the kernel exploit doesn't let you play online but would an IOSU exploit let you?

If the kexploit uses the same entrypoint as the IOSU exploit then there would be no reason to keep it a secret and it would probably be released (I think).

Is there one already? I was thinking that now that more devs have the kexploit in their hands that there would be more people working on finding one.

Don't listen to him you can not play backups online with loadiine but you can play original disc games online if your on 5.5.1 or spoofed to 5.5.1

Edit: ninjad

I have tubehax setup so that the console doesnt update. I cant seem to play online with that or go to the app store. Do i have to disable it and risk the console updating?

And the kexploit allows to mod games you own? Would i get banned?

Don't ever remove tubehax, and are you trying to play legit games online with your console spoofed to 5.5.1 or is it on 5.5.1 legit?

Interesting.. I know someone's currently working on IOSU, I forgot his name (not Hykem).
Also, that documentation about that IOSU flaw on <5.2.0 can hopefully help people understand it a bit and maybe try to find another flaw on newer firmwares.

I don't really know who you're talking about (Yellows8 ? Smea ? Matt ? YifanLu ? Naehrwert ?) but yes, giving out info about how all this works will make people understand it better and maybe there will be more people willing to dev/contribute to it...

Anyway, we know mn1 and NWP aren't leaving the scene but we don't really know what they will do from now on... (especially with replies like the one I got heh)

I think it was DataLogger, iirc.

But, can I play online with an original game with the dns to prevent the nintendo updates?
yes you can, i also have tubehax dns set and i can play from my ssb disc online just fine , i am on 5.5.1

guys, i have a question, if in case a new fw update came out i know that we can spoof the fw. e.g 5.5.2< but after we spoof .

let us then say SSB needs an update, how can we update that then? is it possible to update the game disc without having to update the actual sys fw.?

Yeah, if you're using Tubehax and you're on 5.5.1 or if you're spoofing 5.5.1, you can play online. You just can't access the eShop. You'd need to use nnu-patcher for that.
