the game i just installed was over 3gb and it installed fine. are you sure you have enough free space on your sd card? when installing a cia off the sd card you need 2x the space so say the game is 2gb you would need 4gb of space.

Yes the mSD had enough free space. It just froze both the top and bottom screen. I usually select to install CIA and set it aside while watching some videos or browsing and take a look from time to time. But then it just froze there (the time on the top screen show the last time it was working). Sometimes it is 2/3 or sometimes even less at 1/4 progress.

Before when I used Menuhax+Reinand/GW I only use BBM so I don't have much experience with FBI. I only started using FBI recently because I have it injected into H&S app when doing A9LH.

A lot of big CIA, like New Love Plus Plus (1.6gb), Tales of the World (~900MB), Style Savvy (2 games, around 1GB each) etc. Game that is small or around 500MB work okay though. Really strange.

And it froze when using FBI injected in H&S app more than using FBI CIA installed. New Love Plus Plus froze like 5 times in rows when I use FBI injected, and it install successfully in 2 tries when using FBI app.

Can I install DLC's via latest FBI, I read in some posts that open-source cia installers had problems installing DLC's, Themes etc.... because they had 3 or more something ????
I am asking this because I had read somewhere ( in the SOON 2 Thread, I think) that latest versions of FBI could install DLC's and themes.

I want to install smash DLC from that ISO site and did not want to use BBM for it (cause I don't trust it)

Off Topic :- Do I need to install the relevation dlc if I already have FE Fates special edition

P.S :- Pls don't call me a pirate cause I am poor, besides I also have many legit games.

Will it be possible to download files from CDN without installing them right away in one of the next updates? Like, to keep the CIA files and install them manually, kinda like CIAngel?

Okay So the DLC installed successfully -> verified due to the fact that I got a gazillion notification when I started up smash about getting this thing that thing etc..... blah blah blah....
But none of the characters and stages are present in smash fight menu, this worries me, but I am thinking they can only be unlocked after you have beaten them in "a new challenger approaches"
Any way the DLC shows up in system data management and this gives me hope.
Will post more updates after playing smash marathon too report if see one DLC character unlocked.
Overall I think FBI did install the DLC correctly. If someone knows anyway to check this Pls let me know.

No, Bayonetta, Corrin etc. should just be added to the character select screen automatically and should be visible as soon as you open the character selection, no scrolling or anything. Try installing the DLC using BigBlueMenu and see how it's supposed to be.

If he's unlocked all the characters he'll have to press the arrow in the bottom right

If you have all the characters it overflows into another menu (at least on o3ds non xl, haven't tested n3ds or any XL)

Well then off to the ISO site, which is better though BBM/Title Manager.
Also do you recommend the version which installs to NAND or the one which installs to SD

Use the SD version. No need to install things to NAND except what's necessary

This is honestly the first time I've seen that. There was no such thing for me, maybe the European version doesn't have that? Just a wild guess, I have no idea what's going on.

And the whole screen was different compared to mine, LOL
Anyways do I need to uninstall the DLC via system settings or will the reinstall overwrite the existing files
