I do not understand why people just do not go for a brand new known bundle with a low firmware.
You can sell the new gamepad controller to recoup some of the cost.

Example:
http://www.gamestop.com/browse/storesearch.aspx?sku=020409

I guess I should point out the fact that you can select "pickup at store" and then enter a zip code to see what inventory is nearby. Then you can even reserve a unit or call the store to verify inventory.

Or you can simply waste your time running around from store to store.

Personally, I wouldn't waste the time running to store to store with "low stock" (limited inventory)

Is it normal to NOT see the red cross in the download manager after spoofing your console to 5.5.1 ??

I've double checked in Internet settings for tubehax DNS and it's still there as primary and secondary

And finally how can I check if the tubehax is still working and doing its job?

Thanks

I don't know, it should appear AFAIK.

Also, funny thing I noticed: I still am spoofed to 5.5.0, and I still can access eShop with NNU patcher, or login to my NNID

It took my Wii U a solid month on TubeHax before showing the red X, and then it promptly went away after a reboot. I guess it's weird like that.
I was satisfied that TubeHax was working however - The "System Update" option in Settings would fail.

5.3.2/5.4.0 Wii U's are getting pretty rare now. I went to a few stores on Friday. I was using the Wii U Serial database to try and find a Wii U on 5.3.2 or 5.4.0. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any. I even asked the employees if they can check the back. They claimed they couldn't find any with those specific serial numbers.

I ended up buying a Wii U on 5.5.0.
I've been told that you can order any of the old bundles if you walk into GameStop and tell them you want one.

Hello everyone! :)
The last two days I've been working on a little disassembler which is honestly just ppcd, but with some tweaks/bug fixes here and there.
Something that I noticed when using some of MK8's code for testing was that it used branch calls into parts outside of the .text-section itself.
Can someone tell me what is getting loaded directly behind the beforementioned section?
I already used RPL2ELF (which, it looks like, is not online anymore...) to extract the RPL so it isn't zlib-compressed anymore. The tool luckily gives some hints as to where the sections get stored in Virtual RAM, but from what I can gather nothing out of there gets loaded into the addresses the RPX points to!

TL;DR: What is loaded directly behind the .text section of a loaded RPX? :)

Didn't have any, not couldn't order one in lol. See @Bug_Checker_'s post.
Ah, that one.
I can still technically return my Wii U until Friday.
I'd lose the save data for Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros.
I also don't see my dad being to happy about returning it.

Oh well, I'll see what happens. I'm probably better waiting off for a new exploit, if ever.

Hykem's account on github is dead, not private :V

Yep his Github account is gone and looks like someone has resurrected his Twitter handle also.

I think Bill & Ted said it best "Strange things are afoot at the circle k"

Download master.zip, delete account, profit :)

Nothing is lost. I don't think they would be so stupid.
If you download master.zip it won't save the revision history.

To save the revision history run
Code:
git clone https://github.com/username/repo.git
in a terminal (with git installed)

However wiki,issue are not save

Oh you're right.

I just thought of saving the code, and moving on XD
