Hi there, I currently have the following setup for my 3ds:
N3DS: Sysnand 9.2(Japan), Emunand 10.7(GW, USA)
O3DS: Sysnand 4.5

As I understood, we are currently unable to access eshop once we region change(or at least not in convenient way). Just want to know if
1) is there is any update to the situation?(convenient method to access eshop for region changed system), or if the 3 SD card method works.
2) I read from somewhere that says that eshop does not read settings from secureinfo, so is it possible if I have a US secureinfo, english language, but access Japan eshop?

Thanks!

The firmware uses SecureInfo_A to load up and boot for the correct region however eShop uses a region specific and device specific certificate that is stored in bootrom. Since we can't change it then it isn't possible to access eShop on region changed systems without some hacks involved and they all involve NTR in some form right now.

The error that you will eventually end up at relates to the legacy account and that is the base account associated to the certificate on the system and your device serial so that is the significant roadblock.

2 - On japanese eShop, all is in Japanese, whatever is your language.

Say if have Japan sysnand, region changed to US emunand, I can actually access Japan eshop on emunand? Correct me if I understood you wrongly.

In that case is it possible I just change the region, without disturbing the eshop?(ie Japan system, English language, japan eshop)

If you change the region from JP to US you will not be able to access the JP eshop. Everything is based on the SecureInfo_A file. Changing the region automatically changes the eshop.

I have heard that some people had success in accessing the new regions eshop with AuReiNand and an injected SecureInfo_C file but they could not link a NNID without getting an error. I have not tried this myself yet.

Thank you for the information provided.

Anything else anyone else can share? I read on the secureinfoC but not sure it can be done only for emunand or sysnand..

The NANDS are separate, just inject the SecureInfo_C into whichever NAND you want to region swap with GodMode9(or whatever it's called). I recommend doing it only on emunand just to be safe.

So it is okay to have both secureinfo A and C? C will be used first instead of A?

You should have both on your emunand. The system will not load without a SecureInfo_A. SecureInfo_C is used for connecting to the servers.
