At least most the people in this thread are actually working on shit, calling it "speculation cancer" has to be one of the most hypocritic phrases I've ever heard. You're just adding to the "cancer" part of that, so grow up and knock it off.
I'm not talking about it in a bad light. Just saying no progress has been made yet.

We were "almost there" until the Hykem Episode happened and suddenly the IOSU exploit talk stopped. Remember: Userland Exploit + Kernel Exploit + IOSU exploit = WiiU pwned. At least the remaining keys were leaked and verified, so that's a positive. But not a word (say from smealum et al.) anymore about the IOSU side of things.

And I'm still on 3.1.0U, so I've been (drop voice 3 octaves) paaattiiieeeenntttlyyyy waaiiiitiiingggg. Oh, and I'm still on the old EULA as well.

5.3.2 represent here

don't even bother staying on an ancient firmware like that if you're just waiting for IOSU hax, imho. even as of 5.5, ios is still a buggy minefield. if public hax ever happen, they won't be based on some ancient vuln when newer and better ones exist.

the older one has been around for a long ass time, not just before xmas like hykems.

his screen name pops up way too often, just let it go, along with all hopes of decent nintendo products for the wiiu, phones, tablets or upcoming....

Homebrew is what I want. Its a pity there isnt a disposable vulnerability for 5.5+. Im happy with Nintendo however, as of now the ninty selects are out (sadly i have all these games on first print so no saving for me), the eshop is actually pretty awesome for wii u and I like it that I can utilize plex server on the browser and as long as aac sound ive no issues with hd movies and the like. The hykem stuff is shitty, real shitty. He did contribute a lot for this scene on wiiubrew and released some keys, albeit encrypted and easily cracked. @NWPlayer123 thanks, @Marionumber1 thanks, @zecoxao thanks, @Mathew_Wi thanks, @crediar thanks, @Cyan thanks, @Voxel Studios thanks to all of you for your contribution. There are more and Im sorry for not including you, I would be listing for ages if I wanted to compile all of you. This scene is hurting but there is a lot going on and I understand that using ida, coding c etc is nighmareish and stuff takes time. You are all appreciated by the few.

To those that are being absolute twats and saying nothing is going on check wiiubrew recent changes, its on fire.

I mentioned before that it should be possible for the browser to use the SAVE API to request/create new files to store, would anyone be interested in testing that out so that code can just read ELF files locally once it gets a payload going instead of over the network? Obviously we can't be too greedy cause you only have 8/32GB of space minus how much the system keeps and how much you're using, but it should be able to store something like the entire loadiine ELF file and/or homebrew launcher ELF file to get into Mii Maker to use SD. Of course we can't automatically execute that without making an exploit of the main save it uses but it'd save some network capacity

So this thread is speculation cancer as always. I wish that was meant in a good or bad light. This thread hasn't progressed.

You reallly don't have a scooby dude. You obviously are not keeping up with the rest of us lmao.

@NWPlayer123 although this may sound very dull of me, can we process zlib through the browser. I'm having a little trouble getting the U browser to do what I want. Server side is perfect, it's been in place for a few years and maintained regular (no issues with any sites of projects I host and php reports it working fine). Not sure why U is having trouble with compression.
