It could be from someone leaking it (which happens a lot) but usually its just the company debugging their own code just like the devs here do to find the exploit in the first place. Its a lot harder for our homebrew devs to debug than it is for the company that writes the code and has full access to everything written for their console. Therefor they can find it a lot faster than us. This is why public releases turn into a waiting game based on when they find what we have found and patch it. Then it can be made public to be used on firmware lower than when the revision was made.
