Hacking Getting eShop to work on region-changed O3DS

Looking at forums recently it seems that we have some progress on eShop working on region-changed 3DS by yifanlu.

I have a spare O3DS XL that has:

4.1 EUR sysNAND (console is EUR)
10.x something emuNAND region-changed to JPN using injected secureinfo a from iso site
Running on GW, everything seems to work (including JPN NNID logged in), except eShop (tried the 3SD card trick long time ago that didn't work)

I would like to know procedure to make eShop running on the region-changed JPN emuNAND. Not interested in AL9H unless it is a must.

Some posts here says that latest AuRei and Reinand included the loader patch but not sure if it includes the eShop patch as well

That's actually a great place since the files needed can be linked there.

Exactly why I am putting it on there. I don't want to have to tip toe around forum rules.

I'll probably paste without links on here.

Also i use GW / sky3ds so my guide will include the use of them but if you don't have them you'll have to look up alternative methods for injection of apps and getting hbl to boot.

I've got a Sky3DS+. Do you use some kind of special process, or do you just do the one with getting all of the updates and overwriting duplicate files and installing them after deleting certain system titles?

Just wait for the guide I'm not 100% sure what works yet so I am still tinkering

Okay, just asked since I already did a region change.

You may need to restore your out of region nand it's different then a traditional region swap

At least you have the option to just reintall all your games. I did sysnand region change so my out of region nand is way gone lol if I need it then I'm screwed out of this. oh well.
