Okay, so I'm recording some footage for my latest YouTube video using Project64 v2.0 on the PC.

Everything is fine, running at full speed perfectly, 30fps Gameplay, 60fps menus and that's ace.

All of a sudden the software decides that 90=-100fps is normal rather than 60fps. I can't work out why it's just decided to speed up by 0.5x speed and it's really, really annoying me because I was literally just playing when it happened hahaha

I've tried Syncing game to audio as a quick Google suggested, nothing with the Audio plugins seem to change a thing. Framelimit is turned on and turning it off takes the game up to about 200fps which is unplayable...

Kinda upsetting me at this point. Damn thing. If anyone can help me that'd be a life saver. Thank you <3

You're not using the newest version (2.2)?
What GPU plugin are you using?
Have you enabled "Sync using audio" in the game specific settings under Options->Settings?

Thanks for the super fast response man!

Well, I was looking for some kind of .INI file so that maybe I could manually set the frame limit, but when I went into program files the folders present were Project 64 1.6 and Project 64 2.1.

When loading up the 2.1 the emulator window states that it's version 2.0 though which is odd hahaha

Anyways, I didn't know there was a 2.2 release so I'll probably install that along side the other 2. I've never used 1.6 so I'm not sure why it's there to be completely honest with you!

The problem seems to be with the savestate. I have 4 save states, the other 3 when loaded run at regular speed but the one I'm looking to use is always too fast strangely enough. If I enter the level I want to record after loading another save state it runs just fine...

Thanks for the info, I'll probably download v2.2 soon :)

I love your channel BTW.
Thanks dude! I'm glad to hear there are fans of the channel even here on GBATemp! That's crazy ahaha Good job I didn't ruin the surprise by letting the game name out ;)
