Homebrew Need help for smashbroshax please !

Hi everyone, i'm new here, i suppose you noticed it already.
I've many problems with the smashbroshax i still can't solve by myself, so i come here to ask you if you have any idea why i cannot run this hax.

I'm on a N3DS 10.6 my Smash Bros was previously in 1.1.4 so i deleted the updates in settings menu and on my SD card though my computer to put it back to 1.1.0

Next i've launched the game and a message appeared telling me that the latest updates wasn't installed and that i only be able to play without saving.

Then it creates new datas on my SD card and when I try to launch the hax, my 3DS go back on the main menu and reboot.

Does anybody know how to solve this problem? I think that maybe the datas created on my SD card detained me to install the hax but it's kinda weird.

You compiled it, right? Smashbroshax uses a URL for the payload file instead of the boot.3dsx on the SD card. Make sure it points to a valid file.

My smashpayload.bin is at the root of my sdcard and it match to my 3ds version.

Mine is doing the same thing. Idk why. I followed the tutorial you used and used the youtube one that everyone uses to configure the hax on linux.
Still crashing and reseting, and don't know why.

I didn't know if there is pcap compiled for this version. If you successfully crash the game, so I think all of what you've done on linux is correct. BTW be sure you have the good payload and the good pcap (exactly same version as yours, or confirmed that works with yours, and if it's work with physical copy, digital copy or both. By example 1.1.0 pcap is compiled with the digital copy's update by yellows8, and didn't work with the physical.)



Open the payload with a text editor like windows notpad or notpad++, ctrl+f and type "boot".

Maybe it will work better for you with a boot file.

I need notepad++? because I opened it with many text editors in linux including sublime and it only shows me hex code.
I opened the payload file and the pcap, both hex code. Can't see in ascii to search for boot

Nope. Going to wait for smea to say the new game or buy OoT + Powersaves
