There is something called "Updates" in software development, where a developer can release an initial version of the software and update it when needed.



I hope this is sarcasm.

Sure, he could have released the exploit at christmas, but I think the current popular excuse is that he was trying to find out some kind of safeguard so that less people would brick their consone when trying to apply the exploit, so really he was just looking out for the wellbeing of the community!

I can't guarantee anything about a boot time exploit (that'll be looked into eventually), but an IOSU exploit is certainly being worked on.

That should be enough for people to shut up and wait. One should think that this would be case.

No they had their own stuff and they had no intentions to release it so hykem said he will continue.
Later he said he will release the iosu + rednand with an other team. (Maybe smea, pluto and derrek)

His health condition might be the reason for the delays. Just a guess of mine.

Of course it was false. You don't get raided for hacking / modding consoles, there is no legal ground for that. It was shocking enough how this got blown up so big, says a lot about the intelligence of some people in this place.

OP, since you can't back up your claim that smea's Wii U is broken for good (I double checked his Twitter, there is nothing at all mentioning it) you might want to edit your opening post. All these conversations lately are dumb enough already.
