Can you help me with this?
It was to do with the IMG file I dowloaded. Not every Win95 DOSBox IMG file works with Shutterbug2000's build. (latest libretro DOSBox builds don't boot Win95 yet for some reason...)

If I get the time, I will PM you the link to the IMG file I downloaded. :)

Can you link me to the latest ShutterBug2000 build?

It just get stuck on a yellow bottom screen and a black top screen. I could start it but then i startet win 3.1 and there was a windows command line with this message : command : windows not found. Then I was exiting to the Gridlauncher and got to ftbrony to transfering a windows 98 img. After this it get stuck on a yellow screen. I 4 times redownloadet the pack and replaced the folder but nothing work. Sorry for my bad english. I hope you can undestand it.

How's progress on this project thus far? I'm assuming it's on hold until bigger and better stuff happens in the homebrew scene first, but it's nice to keep updated.

Also, attempting to get this working but I fail at finding this elusive windows 98.img that's needed to run it. @LarBob, How exactly did you use lite98? I tried turning the downloaded .exe from the site into a .img with the correct name but it doesn't work. (Not that I expected it to.)

i will, but it's gonna be crap

at the bottom, if you look closely, it says" A:\> witch means i'm in the command prompt(or ms-dos)
If I look closely I realize I still can't read shit.

We're gonna need a clearer screenshot, but I bet it's the image you're using.

Could anyone PM me a working .img file for Windows 98?

Also, when I try to use Windows 3.1 (I did create a folder called WINDOWS), it says "Illegal command: win." Help?

could i get dosbox to load wmware (from running a bat that runs VMWareWorksation.exe and then have wmaware run a .wmx file (a virtural machine) and load windows?

Even if this was possible (as other have already pointed out, it isn't), I'd cringe to think how several layers deep of virtualization would run on a n3ds.

you load it with a batch file

Well you need the img files to do that, and most img files don't seem to work.

I'm also getting the error "No valid CDROM device drivers selected / A:\>_"
I might end up waiting until this gets through its early stages, because this dos emulator just doesn't seem to work right now...

As unfortunate as it is, I'm having trouble finding a proper .img of win 98 (I don't even know how the OP was able to run 98lite on his) and so I would like in on this PM.

The furthest I've gotten is with Windows 3.1. It's telling me I need to insert a floppy disk to install it on, which is impossible to do (This is running the .img file directly). The batch files themselves don't work at all, as if they won't read the img's or the img's themselves don't work.
This is a lot harder than it should be to figure out.
