So I've read a lot of threads asking if playing DS backups without flashcard is possible,
many were answered by no.

So,before I can continue this will interfere a little bit with the ds lite/dsi flashcards section but I'm making these questions about the 3ds (with version 9.2)

First of all,I own a Blue Gateway and a cheap r4i clone (probably, not 100% sure but seems pretty fake) as DS flashcards (both working on my 3ds on previous firmwares) and they're blocked on the firmware I'm on now.I've read threads about flashcardtimewarp.cia or BlueCardFix.cia and I've installed BOTH of them *i've tried installing flashcardtimewarp.cia or BlueCardFix.cia Only but neither of them worked* and it's not working , meaning that the Flashcards aren't recognized.

Is there any way to get these flashcards working for sure with another .cia or something else?

And now, as I know these flashcards are sure to work on firmware 4.5- so here is another question pretty irrevelant to the thread tittle,

can I get ''newer'' 3ds games work on v4.5?If I can, does it worth the time to do it ?

And this concludes my thread..
Sorry if questions were stupid.

Are you installing those CIA's (the bluecardfix) to Sysnand with DevMenu?

Well,I would if I could,I can't uninstall cias and if I press install on the same cia it says ''The cia is already installed''.Also,I've tried after fresh formatting
Did you try it now? Maybe it didn't install correctly the first time.

I've tried it like 3-4 times the most recent was 2 hours ago and didn't work, also wondering if this has to do with regions (i mean if you must install a specific cia for your region)

They didn't work how? Do they show an error or do you just get a black screen? Error about ejecting the card means that it is blocked. Black screen means you didn't put the blue card firmware on the sd card. R4 cards need firmware on the SD cards.

What excactly do you mean the blue card firmware? If it's the patch you mean then I installed it but when I put the blue gateway/r4i on my 3ds nothing happens (like, the 3ds game slot on the bottom screen remains blank) and I've tried it when I'm on Rxtools CFW (which as much info I could get automatically unblocks all ds flashcards) or when in gateway mode which was just to see what'll happen and nothing homened

Bluecard firmware: Download latest GW zip, extract, copy everything from Blue Card (R4i) folder to the root of your blue card sd.

Also, DS flashcarts don't work in emunand. (Not without https://gbatemp.net/threads/twl-slot-1-launcher-first-custom-dsiware-app.414501/ and even with that Bluecard does not work. Your R4 MIGHT though.)

As I said,I've tried on both emuNAND and sysNAND.About the files on the Blue card SD they're right on and many may have misunderstood that the blue card is not SHOWN/RECOGNIZED by the 3ds itself (you know like, you put on a 3ds game cartridge wait for 2 seconds and a ''channel'' is poped up on the menu screen, that doesn't happen with the R4i/the Blue Gateway

You need to be in sysnand to use the blue card

This might seem like a dumb question, but the first time you installed Bluecardfix to SYSNAND, was that on a firmware prior to 9.2?
I'd boot HBL, run minipasta and install it again. It should work on sysnand if it installed correctly.

Firstly,I installed it on 9.2,yes.Secondly,because I haven't used pastaCFW or minipasta how will I get to the DevMenu by that CFW ? Do i need to install the DevMenu cia before i do it ?

Install Dev Menu CIA to Sysnand, reboot, launch mini pasta, run Dev Menu in sysnand and install the bluecard fix, power down, turn on the 3DS normally (Sysnand) and pop in your blue card with all the files on the root of its SD from the Blue Card (R4i) folder.
