I'm not sure but the banner.bnr made with your .obj is > 1 mb maybe it's possible to compress it with EFE.
But i'm not an expert, @Apache Thunder may help you with this process...
Try to make simple modifications on an existing banner before trying make one from the scratch

Hahahahahahaha that's awesome, I tried to have a look at EFE it saved as a bcres file which I have no fucking idea what that is lol

if I understand you want to keep the Japanese banner with your image instead of the original ?

without losing quality... but for now, ohana can't save changes without loss of quality, you must ask the devs or there may be the possibility to modify the content with a hex editor but I do not know how...

I look if there is the possibility to make some changes with NW4C and 3DEditor or Nintendo Ware Creative Studio

The default banner is terrible (EU) so Blurry

Whats the size constraints on your 3D banner tool you are working on because having a flat 3d image could work also since no quality loss

you can build a 2D banner with ba-GUI-nnertool and a 256x128.png
but if you want to make a flat 3D banner with maya (example) there is only a limitation about polygons (and size/visibility on homemenu)

Man thats pretty nice i could essentually have a flat banner that can us the full height dimesions and it be better qualty than original.

Could you make me a 3D FLat banner with the hyrule warriors BCwav

I have the custom image already made to fit with the dimensions just need it made 3d to get maximum image size and quality Here are 2 ideal ones slight smaller in height and the last one is a shrunk source file *was 4k Originally*
I had to merge the Warriors and Legends Banners for this result

No matter what I do, I just can't open a bcmdl with Ohana. I know that I'm not supposed to use the Rebirth version, so should I use the one in the Ohana3DS.zip from here? How I've been doing is I opened Ohana, went to the Textures tab and clicked on open, but anytime I try to open a bcmdl or cgfx file it gives me an error which just says "Something went wrong".

@FONZD idea how to inject larger Banners with with the better image quality

I found a better source file it contains a 512x256 image injecting works fine but obviosuly the qualty drops(fyi source file was super monkey ball lol)
also included the file aswell again at right its just trying to get inject with lossless compression working

im only doing this because zelda banner is so poor


But hey this opens up options for homebrew Banners to be even Larger
