hmm for me it doesnt seem to be compatible with reiNAND (n3ds menuhax coldboot) , i tried the latest one and after it loads titles the bar fills up and give me an Error and to power it off.

is this not compatible with rei? it works perfect within my GW emuNAND but on rei it has hiccups...

and i was about to put A9LH on my n3ds but since it only has rei cfw compatibility i was wondering how i would backup my saves,

I've been building and using it with rei and on the rare occasion I have my o3DS, rxtools. I had that problem too right after I added the progress bar, but I thought I got it sorted. Are you using the latest build?

yep latest build, i shall try it again now :)

within GW emuNAND it works brilliantly and it looks so good!

That's weird. I just used it to transfer my save from gameyob back to vc and it worked no problem. Sounds like the save commit is failing. I'll look into it.

Maybe this info can help I'm using an injected version of pokemon color blue because in gamejob the music lags. Transferring to this "colored blue" version works but back to "official blue" it crashed on import.

It seems that simply deleting the save of official blue than RESTART 3DS and after that import it works.
If I try to do it in one go it will keep on failing until I delete the save restart and do it that way.

See my own steps below:

FROM Official Blue to Colored Blue
1) Official Blue Export Save with JK save manager
2) Copy Save.dat to Colored Blue Folder
3) Remove rsm1.dat and rsm2.dat
4) Delete Colored Blue save with JK save manager (Be sure to have backup)
5) Import save to Colored Blue with JK save manager
6) Booth the game error will pop up but you will be able to continue.

FROM Colored Blue to Official Blue
1) Save in Colored Pokemon Blue and reset virtual console game
2) Copy Save.dat to Official Blue Folder
3) Remove SecureValue file in Blue Folder
4) Delete Official Blue save with JK save manager (Be sure to have backup)
5) OPEN POKEMON BLUE and go trough save data corrupted.
6) RESTART 3DS (import else crash when reimporting save).
7) Import save to Colored Blue with JK save manager

@vree
You don't really have to delete anything. You should be able to just copy the sav.dat from the injected one to the real VC release. My manager should make the game ignore the SecureValue file. The crash is what's confusing me. I don't see why restarting the 3DS would make any difference.

I was making back ups of my games last night but when I reached Pokemon Yellow it gave me an error, and after that it kept giving me errors when I tried to export different games like Mario and Luigi Paper Jam, Pokemon Rumble World, Pokemon Shuffle, etc. It was working fine before I got the error though.

Hmmmm I don't know what else to tell you.

For some reason it crashes if I don't restart the 3DS when I import it from the injected one. When I import something from the real vc itself it doesn't seem to do that (crash).

Don't really know what could be triggering it.Maybe something in the 3DS temp memory or so?

I'm transferring saves from some of my cartridges to installed games on my SD card. Will the ExtData already on the SD card automatically be used without needing to be imported and exported?

Edit: Tested it myself and the Extra Data seems to be shared, so no action is needed to get it to work with cartridge dumps on the same 3DS.

Bro , this works now beautifully also with A9LH/AruNAND for me, i only got the error because i didnt have the firmware90 in my rei folder.

many many thanks for this very powerful save tool, much appreciated <3

When i launch the cia (rxtools 10.6/n3ds Jap) it shows the Loading Titles screen, and it freezes my 3ds., any ideas?
--edit--

It works under gateway mode

--edit--

Any key combination to export all cia saves?

If you the grab the cia on github, it does have it. I just don't know how well it works, because I didn't have time to go into every game I have and restore an old save afterwards to check. I know the backup works though.

Perfect, testing it now, it appears to work great. Thank you for sharing!

First time posting on Gbatemp, dunno if I'm doing this right. Just wanted to report that out of the 12 games i have, Puzzle and Dragons freezes my 3ds upon attempting to back it up. The other 11 games back up flawlessly. Also, there is one blank space, and another title with jumbled letters in the game title list. Not sure what they are.
Using the latest version of the app. Old 3ds 9.2 sysnand, 10.6 emunand, rxtools.

Is it possible to import a .sav file that I've backed up from my old Sky3ds+ without having the flashcart anymore? I got the program to back up my Fire Emblem Awakening save while I still had the Sky3ds+ but I'm trying to backup my girlfriend's gamesaves and I'm kinda at a loss what to do. I have the saves (in .sav format) on my SD card and the game CIA installed onto the system in RXTools. But it won't let me import anything.

@JK_ : Nice tool :)
You have some textencoding problems when listing the titlenames. e.g. the ê from Pokemon is not displaying correctly. I'm not sure how to fix this because different languages have different textencoding. Maybe try to display and convert everything in UTF-8 to include most western symbols.
Also I would love to have an alphabetical sorting for titles. This would be very neat.

The newest version has both of those, does it not? Pokemon uses the é character and the titles are all sorted alphabetically for me lol

Hello, guys! Whenever I try to export/import the save file of my Fire Emblem IF, I get this error message that says, "Couldn't open SaveArch!" What should I do?
