Homebrew Homebrew game Ultimate Switch Port Thread

Are any of these android ports possible on ps vita (mainly angry birds)
All the Angry Birds games are 32-bit or at least all the old ones so they can be ported to Vita but this is Switch thread :P

@ChanseyIsTheBest does that means no Valkyrie Profile Lenneth port? or is it gonna be a Nagaa port afterall? https://gbatemp.net/threads/kingdom-hearts-union-ch-dark-road-switch-port.683138/post-10884882

You should thank @delson_anr

Someone can Port Galaxy on Fire 2 Please?
Looks like a cool game but it's 32-bit only so It can't be ported to Switch

Papers, Please port by me

Wow thank you for bringing Valkyrie Profile Lenneth to the Switch @delson_anr !

We should also let @ztreetwalker know about this as he was the one who wanted this the most, he asking so much about it was even the reason I got to know about the game lol

edit: is it really for the best to use the Crunchyroll version as a base? I'd had assumed using the Square Enix ver. would had been better, I could (and might) be wrong tho.

Bored of Android and looking for a challenging new target? I just discovered this project for running Mac Apple Silicon binaries on aarch64 Linux

At the very least you'd have to rewrite all the code that redirects library calls to target libnx. Likely a lot of work and maybe there are other factors that would make it impossible, but sharing in case anyone feels like investigating.

Can you explain how vita stuff would work? Maybe in dms? interested in how you did it

Here's a few misc. projects w/ Android versions I think would be really cool to see get Switch ports eventually

Dr. Mario Mania - Basically a fanmade ultimate edition of Dr. Mario that features multiple modes from different games in the series, custom levels, multiplayer, and more. It's Godot based.

Super Mario Bros. Remastered Android - An Android fork of SMBR which is basically a similar concept to Dr. Mario Mania except for Super Mario Bros. 1 / The Lost Levels. Full recreations of SMB1, TLL, SMB Special & the All Night Nippon versions, custom levels, characters, and resource packs, new modes, and more! It's also Godot based.

Plants vs Zombies Ultimate (Discord linked) - A fangame / mod of PvZ 1 that incorporates content from all versions of it, including the various Chinese versions which add a ton of new plants, modes, and even a whole secondary campaign based on Journey to the West. All content is available in English (a lot for the first time).

Yokoi - Game & Watch Emulator - Yokoi is a Game & Watch (and clone systems) emulator based off of MAME that provides access to nearly all main releases of Game & Watch titles (a lot more than what the RetroArch recreations can provide). It is a 3DS based emulator, but it does have an Android version.

The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening DX HD - A fan remake of LoZ:LA DX originally made for PC, but updated to run on Android and more. It allows you to play the original version of LoZ:LA with a lot of QoL features, and a much more zoomed out view.

AM2R for Android - A very popular fan remake of Metroid 2, repackaged for Android.

I'd also love to see more general emulators make their way to Switch like MAME4Droid (Arcade / Various Misc systems), JL-Mod (J2ME Phone games), EKA2L1 (N-Gage / Symbian), touchHLE (old iOS games), and more, but yeah any of these would be really cool to see eventually make their way if any one who's able to is interested

I second some of these requests. I've been patiently waiting to see Super Mario Bros. Remastered on Switch porting through Godot. But if somehow we can just get the android wrapper over to Switch, I'll take it.

Also Link's Awakening DX HD is also a good one. I've seen gameplay of this one and looks incredible. Would love to see this playable on Switch as well.
