Hello, I'm having some trouble recovering games and saves in 3ds before putting the EMUNAND.
Before starting the process I saved all the contents of the SD card on the computer, I had some problems during the process, I had to format SD card and now that it is finished do not know how to restore the game and saves it had before.
In the saved contents before starting the process, the folder within the "Nintendo 3DS" have this numbers: 81c3c6ac20fd3395f07ae444af1ad1fc
Now after the process on the SD card I have two folders
85637ee643cfac464a977c7ea983db81 (SYSNAND)
3ab72b69d7c82f553ff1489a61508193 (EMUNAND)
None of the two folders have the same number that I had before.
How do I restore the content of the games and saves it had before? Is there a way?

Not to hijack the thread, but say someone did have a backup of their 9.2, preformat. Would one use Decrypt9 to restore that NAND? Is that going to be an issue if EmuNAND has already been set up? And can you remake your EmuNAND from said backup?

In every folder you quoted, there is a second folder within.

Copy the content of 81c3c6ac20fd3395f07ae444af1ad1fc/SECOND_FOLDER_ID/ to the second folder of the NAND of your choice:
85637ee643cfac464a977c7ea983db81/SECOND_FOLDER_ID/ (SYSNAND)
3ab72b69d7c82f553ff1489a61508193/SECOND_FOLDER_ID/ (EMUNAND)

Though, I don't think it will work with the NAND your formatted... :/
My /Nintendo 3DS/FIRST_FOLDER_ID/ has been changed after the downgrade, but the data was still compatible. (before unlinking)

Did you make that backup before or after you lost your games/saves. If you did you can restore this backup (to your emunand NOT sysnand) and everything should be back to normal.

But I need to copy all the contents back to SD card or just the emuNAND.bin file? Because this file have around 900Mb and the Nintendo 3DS folder that I had saved in my computer have around 19Gb.

Hi guys, i have a comparable problem/case.
I followed the github guide for downgrade/otp and it worked fine. However i made a mistake and i have owerwritten my clean emuNAND backup (the one you make directly after creating your emu and upgrading the firmw. To 10.6) with one that was tinyformatted.
Now my cakeCFW doesn't see all my games, saves etc... U know, stupid, should have more than 1 backup. I do have a dump of my sysNAND 9.2, also created just after downgrading, so if i'm correct it should have everything linked to it.
Is there a way to recover everything without starting the whole process over? I don't give a single fuck if i have to re-download all my stuff, it's all the other data i want back.
Any help?

Rename your 9.2 sysnand dump to EmuNAND.bin, go to Decrypt9->EmuNAND Options->EmuNAND restore->select EmuNAND.bin
That should do it if that nand dump is indeed linked to your saves, games, etc.

Will try that.
One more noob question. Now that everything is set and i restore the sysNAND, i'll just have to upgrade to 10.6? It'll still be the cfw? If i'm correct, the sysNAND backup doesn't have the injected fbi in h&s, so i wouldn't want to lock myself out.

Ah right, in that case you would want to inject FBI to Emunand again, then install FBI.CIA so that you won't lose it when you update Emunand. It will still be accessible from any CFW of course.
