As title says. Trying to write to the nand after trying to downgrade a N3DS from 10.6 using autofirm.

But whenever I try to write, Win32DiskImager just throws me a 1117 error.

I can confirm I have a good clean nand dump and that soldering is not the issue.

Has anyone else come across this issue before?

I'm using a Anker USB 3.0 SD reader with the Realtek RTS5306 chipset.

EDIT: Don't know if this will help, but if I take out the lock clip, Win32DiskImager throws me the 1117 error instantly. If I put it back in it throws me the error after 2-3 seconds.

EDIT: Removed everything and put it back on and I'm getting the same error on multiple computers.

EDIT: Good news and bad news, I got it to write, but only in 1 bit mode, so it takes forever to read and write now

check if you have that little plastic on your sd reader adaptor
if not , try to put some tape to cover the missing plastic location

Can you make a dump from your nand mod and is it valid?
I dont know maybe the SD pinout is wrong or something had a bad contact.

But if it had a bad contact then it wouldn't make a valid dump would it?

EDIT: Could it be the card reader?

I had the same problem as you and the solution was first read the corrupt nand a couple of times, after that select the NAND in good condition and overwrite ..works on N3dsXL same error 117 and and always appear double formater sd screen after plugin the sdcard reader in to the laptop..
