Will that version work with anything? And, is there a download link?
Compiling worked for everything I tried it on. Not sure if everything if every one of those use it though (Reinand, rxtools, rxtools a9lh branch, aureinand, al9h otp, cakes)

The download link will be just a few posts above that

It's also the latest one on the dev's github so you could probably compile it

Currently no CFWs, including CakesFW, can launch a rare 1.21GB (or 2GB legacy formatted) 2DS emuNAND.
This case appears on some of the JPN Pokemon RGBP exclusive 2DSes, which released less than a week.

There used to be an alternative method:
1) Format a 1GB emuNAND partition
2) Inject NAND backup to 1GB partition

but it didn't work for this case, because:
- The worked case is a "fake?" 1.21GB, only GW created 1.21GB NAND backup, Decrypt9 created 943MB NAND backup.
- In this case, GW, Decrypt9 and EmuNAND9 created 1.21GB NAND backup.

So we may need a CFW fix to support this type of rare 1.21GB/2GB 2DS emuNAND.

I reported this issue to rxTools github.
Someone reported it to @Reisyukaku .

@Madridi

Use @Februarysn0w version of armips.exe and to get rid of The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application error you need the 32 bit version of visual c++ 2015 installed.

When someone use my build, they will need to install this package?
https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=48145

Included package installer link here.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/47464831/armips.rar

Anyway sorry for the inconvenience. and thank you for your help.

Yes with the latest version of armips.exe and ctrtool you need the 32 bit version of visual c++ 2015 installed for them to work.

Two 2DS owners reported to me that
- EmuNAND9 0201 formatted 1.21GB emuNAND
- CakesFW 108 & 137 with correct O3DS cetk & firm
- AuReiNAND
finally worked.

I made the move from RXTools to Cakes about an hour ago, and it worked fine, I turned on all the patches (though I'm seeing now that perhaps I didn't need to turn on the Force saving patched firmware).

Anyway, it was all working great, I'm on a N3DS, EmuNAND 10.6 and everything was running great, I was testing everything, DS games, DSiware, GBA titles, as well as of course standard 3DS titles, and it all worked great.

But now, not longer after doing it, when I start my N3DS over and it tries to autoboot back into my emuNAND, the 3DS keeps hanging after the red screen flashes on the bottom, and nothing loads, and when I try to hold L to access the Cakes menu it doesn't work.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? If so do you know how to remedy it? I even tried to go back to RXtools instead, but the 3DS still hangs at the same place. My SysNAND is 9.0, so I know that there is nothing wrong there. Do I need to reinstall menuhax or something?

Well I don't know about the issue, but delete the config file from cakes menu. That should get you to cakes menu at least

Nope, tried that, didn't work.
Something is definitely messed up then

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

can anyone compile the 139 nightly for A9LH?
I could probably do that if so knew where the source was for A9LH.. Can't seem to find a branch from the original

yeah, very frustrating, I know there is a way to get everything up and running again, but it makes me wary to just use cakes if its going to force me to have to reinstall my hax or whatever after not even a full hour of using it instead of RXtools. I made the switch though because RXtools no longer has the ability to play DS, DSiware, and GBA VC titles on the latest emuNAND.

To be fair, nightlies are not stable and were never recommended to be used. But in any case, we don't really know what happened. It seems like your emunand is messed up and that may or may not be cakes's fault. As much as I love rxTools, cakes is considered to be more stable in general.
