But you should be able to change the permissions on the file.

No. The only things that will get you banned are using enemy only items, breaking stat caps, or having too many unique classes. Control enemy is fine, infinite HP or movement is not. You can use the unreleased DLC items just fine too, on my birthright save I have a bunch of witch's marks from transferring over a save from the japanese version.

You can use warp on male characters just fine. You can use any skill on any character just fine, the only thing that'll flag you is, again, having enemy only skills, and even that will only prohibit you from online battles while they're equipped. Unequip the skill in question and you're good to go.

So to summarize. Items you can't normally obtain, breaking stat caps, and having too many unique classes will get you banned. That's literally it. Nothing else will get you shadowbanned. Even enemy only skills will only prohibit you online battles, and doesn't flag your save.

There's a lot of misinformation around, but this is the extent and breadth of Fates' anticheat system. If something isn't on this list, it won't get you shadowbanned.

oh ok thanks! so I can use the All Item 77 as long as I don't use the enemy weapons? They won't ban me for having 77 Eternal Seals or something? And what about Enable All City Build, it says i can get banned for it but only if I make more than one building right? Or is it a big NO and will get me banned if im on Chapter 7 and put a lvl 3 Lottery?

The enable all city building is way less flexible than you'd think, I actually don't think it lets you make level 3 buildings before they naturally unlock. It's more useful for creating an ingredient farm (though at that point you can just use the 77x city item cheat too so). FWIW I have both nohr and hoshido buildings on my nohr playthrough and I'm sitting tight at 2000 visitor points, so I'm definitely not shadowbanned for that. I don't think you actually can get shadowbanned from that cheat, so the doc isn't perfectly accurate in that regard.

Here's my advice to you. Back up your save. Use the all items cheat, go play a DLC map and discard every item you don't recognize or that's enemy only. Not everything will say enemy only either, so keep that in mind too. Cross reference with serenes forest's list of items too. Anything on the my castle rewards menu should be safe as well, everything you'd normally find in shops or as a reward will be safe. Once you've discarded those items, save, restart without launching NTR, and update data. Check to see if you're shadowbanned. If you are, you either used another unsafe cheat or you missed an enemy only item.

I'm not sure whether or not the anticheat just looks at equipped items or at the entire convoy. It probably just looks at equipped items, but there's no reason not to play it as safe as possible.

thanks so much, ill try to do that. im actually asking because in another save i went and used that cheat and I didn't discard or check to see the enemy weapons and I Update my castle/played online and it worked, so maybe you get banned if you equip one of the weapons, but having them doesn't matter?

That's... essentially what I said, yes. I think it's likely that it only flags your save if your units have enemy only weapons equipped (possibly only your streetpass team even, who knows). That being said, better to confirm one way or another, no?


Don't forget that you can still visit other castles while shadowbanned. They just can't visit you.

Same thing. You can't do online battles with wireless, but you can sit there and do battles with friends castles.

Thought so, but in order to actually go online you need to update your data to their servers, and from there they ban you. If your theory is right, it's possible that the save could just be flagged, but finding out what flags it is the problem, since until you're 100% sure on what's flagging you, the server will keep flagging your save.

im sorry if this bothers someone but i cannot make the cheat run, i used the if version because i cant download the us one(the code 9ecb doesnt work) and i know how to use ntr because it works with hyrule wariors and mrio kart
edit: also i downloaded ntr 3.3 and still doesnt work

Now you need to set up RXTools then update that emunand to 10.6 then only can you use NTR CFW.

i just used gateway cheats for controlling enemy + infinite movement + always have convoy enabled

That's your thing right there. Controlling enemy as long as you don't take their gear, and infinite movement seems to have been flagged, and convoy enabled? What does that mean since it's a little confusing with the NTR and GW ones.
