Hacking Can anyone help me set up Gateway+RxTools?

So my in my case I have a o3ds 4.5 with gateway right now and I'm on 10.6 emunand with 3.71 gateway launcher.Everything went well.

I just want to add a CFW because Revelation DLC of FE fates isn't working with gateway..

will revelation work with rxtools?and will there be a risk in running gateway+Rxtools and is it possible/safe to run 2 type of cfw in a single sd card?

They all use the same emunand created by gateway. There's really no risk have more than one CFW on your 3ds. I'm on 9.2 n3ds with themehax auto boot with ctr boot so I can choose one of my 4 cfws to use. I have rxtools 3.0 beta 2, reinand 3.2, pasta CFW, and cakes CFW all on the same memory card and have never had any sort of issue using them.

And to answer your dlc question. It sounds like your file is corrupt. Redownload and use big blue menu or devmenu to install it to your emunand.

thanks for the answer! regarding the fates dlc..it is stated that ONLY the revelation dlc doesn't work on gateway and that the dlc only work on CFW.

I see that it's safe to run multitple cfw..so do I just install Rxtools on the top of my gateway?is there a tutorial somewhere with my dual cfw case?thanks again

For rxtools, use 2.6 since you have a o3ds. Place the rxtools.dat in the root of your sd card, you will also need slot0x25.bin for games that require 7.x update to save and all that fun stuff, google how to get it. You will also need to run the firmware.bat that comes in the rxtools tool folder. This gets you the needed firmware file for rxtools to work. Place all three files in the root of your sd card once you have them, then go to launch.rxtools.net in your 3ds browser. If you want to save time, look up how to update your sysnand to 9.2 so you can use auto boot like most of us do. It lets you choose what CFW to use without the pain of connecting to the Internet to use a different CFW.
