It may well be safe, but I'm restoring sysNAND first just in case.

Updated arm9loader from dark_samus3, added the splash.bin from ReiNAND to AuReiNAND and it works.

From what I understand A9lh loads super early In the boot up and can soon load in decrypt9 to act as a recovery so once the awesome Dev's get it working their would be no need to hardmod anymore for sysnand recovery.

If the brick doesn't affect the firm partitions (most likely won't, because you wont be fiddling with that do you?) a9lh will survive the brick. Right now with the right files you can get a limited Decrypt9 version to insta-launch at boot with a9lh. That could recover emunand if you have a backup. You should not restore sysnand that way as you'll overwrite sysnand's firm partitions (and a9lh with it). If emunand is working, you can boot directly to it, ignoring sysnand. Even if you have a bricked ctrnand sysnand.

If I have a 10.6 CFW sysnand with the a9lh installed, Should I restore a 9.2 Clean backup to update a9lh? Or can I just use the new installer to update on 10.6?

I just dumped my OTP after a successful (but stressful) downgrade.

Can I compile your repository and install it for an initial installation or should I first install another build?

Also to be sure, can someone compile this build with my OTP? Just to be sure about what I do with my own build. (I want to check the SHA-256/MD5/whatever to see if I did not make a mistake)

Yeah, I re-installed it but I still have the screen corruption so it appears to have made no difference :/

EDIT: Out of interest, it seems when I restored my non-a9lh backup of sysNAND using D9 from the bootloader.. it DIDN'T get rid of a9lh. I'm gonna mess about a bit more and see if I can get back to pre-a9lh somehow and start from scratch.

Yesterday I restored form Emunand and it only took part of it away, you can check if its the same for you by removing your SD card. if it boots to Sysnand you had the same issue i did. I solved it by booting it to sysnand without SD after booted plug the SD back in then go to Homebrew Launcher and restore the SysNand backup again should restore it clean from that. (If its the same issue)
