Hi, I use an
O3DSXL
SysNAND 9.2
EmuNAND 10.6
My NAND's are splited

Id like to bring a bit sorting into my SD card and have some questions now:

1. Which files on my 3DS could be deleted without any problems when i start my 3DS directly into EmuNAND rxtools?
Can I delete the EmuNAND9 Folder or is this my EmuNAND? (This maybe could be my noobiest question ever haha :D)

2. When i cut all my files to my desktop and format my SD Card and then drag and drop everything back to where it was, after this will everything work like it work before formatting?

Heres my folder structure hope it's okay in german:

1. You can delete your Emunand9 is a folder that the emunand9 uses, nothing to do with your actual emunand, so you can delete it if you want.
2. If you format your SD card, then there is no problem.
If you format your sysnand, then I think you wouldn't be able to use your backup unless you were able to restore your sysnand backup
(the same for emunand)

Note that your actual emunand exists in a hidden partition on the SD card that you can't see in Windows.

Also, what do you want to format the SD card for anyway?

I want to test out if i could remove a black/blank app on my EmuNAND which was created after installing some GBA VC Games and still remain after installing and uninstalling the GBA CIA's.

Okay interesting maybe i try to do this next...
Is there a way to see my rxtools Version?
I don't think there is an easy way...
You can see if you are using a <=2.6 or a 2.6+ version depending on the directory structure your rxTools has on your sd card or if you remember what kind of url you used to run it for the first time, I don't know what is each one though

If you have an rxTools folder on the root of your SD card, then it's probably a 2.6+ version or a nightly

Yes thats correct but i uninstalled all on NAND to and the app is only on my emuNAND and not on my SysNAND. It's mysterious.
Well that's your problem. You have to install them on emuNAND SD and sysNAND SD. Not on emuNAND SD and emuNAND NAND.
So "just" boot on emuNAND and remove what you installed on NAND there (or restore a previous emuNAND backup, and make an emuNAND backup before doing anything), then install things where you have to.

If you had to install things on SD and NAND, that's what people would say instead of saying emuNAND and sysNAND.

Okay that's a new thing i learned now i thought the NAND goes for all on the 3DS
Maybe this could help me... I will experiment a little bit.

Okay i found a CTR-P-AMKP File (Should be from Mario Kart 7)
on my NAND when I am in DevMenu SysNAND...

It's the Category: APP and the only in this Category.

The SysNAND SD has nothing ( None ) inside.
