Not sure why you would want to use the browser to boot to GW when you can use menuhax, but from what I've tested, I am able to tell AuReiNand to boot to sysNAND, then it triggers menuhax, and then I can boot rxTools so I guess GW works too. I just never do it since arm9loaderhax is much more convenient to get to an emuNAND.If i install ARM9Loader with for example,AuReiNand,i can (if i want) boot the console like a retail one and boot GW via browser? Thanks. (This exploit its confusing)
Thanks! I will install AuReiNand, convert all the games to CIA and use GW if i want, booting to sysNAND using menuHax. yesI have a little problem... When i use the make command,it says "The New3DS native firm its missing". I have a OLD3DS. I have to put the N3DS files?
Getting the OTP is a lot safer than a regular downgrading process since you are not using the instable memchunkhax2, and you are not writing titles one by one on sysNAND (you're writing titles one by one on emuNAND then writing a NAND backup to sysNAND). Then, once back on 9.2, you're writing stuff to your NAND again to install arm9loaderhax, yeah, but there shouldn't be any problem, given the size of what you're writing...It works, but it overwrites sysnand, so wouldn't advise doing it unless you have a hard mod, or don't care if you brick your 3DS.
arm9loaderhax needs a payload. Just update that payload to update your CFW.And I'm wondering how you would install CFW updates... would you have to repeat the original process all over again, and basically end up formatting your 3DS? If so, it's not worth it IMO.
