What firmware did you downgrade to by the way? What did you use to downgrade?I now downgraded sucessfully and dumped my otp, but no of my sha256 matches.
The secret_sector.bin ist the key0x11, or is it the full key area?
The latest sysupdater version with the downgrade feature and the 1.0.0E cias I got pmd. What firmware did you downgrade to by the way? What did you use to downgrade?
Sounds like an sd card problem to be honest. I've downgraded multiple times already today and yesterday with sysupdater (various versions) with no fs errors or errors of any sort.I really would like to downgrade but am super reluctant as I repeatedly get fs errors on the regular sysupdater. If I used the sysupdater that deletes everything before installing the pack, will the chance of getting the fs error still be there or will the removal of all titles stop it from being declined?
Coldboot ARM9 execution (or, CFW as soon as your 3DS starts). And no, it works for O3DS too.Hey sorry. Noob comment coming through, but what does this allow you to do? And it's N3ds only right?
https://www.reddit.com/r/3dshacks/comments/42nui9/arm9loaderhax/czc18gdscreeninits, for example, is private. it shouldn't be too hard anyway
I'll use the regular sysupdater with another SD card. Hopefully that'll work.Sounds like an sd card problem to be honest. I've downgraded multiple times already today and yesterday with sysupdater (various versions) with no fs errors or errors of any sort.
If you have dumped your OTP already, then I suppose reflash your NAND with your hardmod. And now I'm faced with the new issue yay! lol
SD Card IN and the power light comes on for a second then goes off, SD Card OUT and it turns on as it should but obviously does nothing except sit on black screens.
*is confused* lol
Exactly what I'm doing... Those results are what I'm getting AFTER already restoring 9.2 and running the arm9loaderhax installer btw.If you have dumped your OTP already, then I suppose reflash your NAND with your hardmod.
And after you've run the installer, you've got a brahma payload called arm9loaderhax.bin on the root of your SD card? Those results are what I'm getting AFTER already restoring 9.2 and running the arm9loaderhax installer btw.
Nope. And after you've run the installer, you've got a brahma payload called arm9loaderhax.bin on the root of your SD card?
The arm9loaderhax.bin is YOUR payload. You provide that. Be it a CFW or whatever.Nope.
Gonna try again and see what happens.
Noted. The arm9loaderhax.bin is YOUR payload. You provide that. Be it a CFW or whatever.
Right, I'm guessing that without a payload to launch, it just shuts down. Ideally you'd want one that doesn't need the screen or any input. I think patois has a basic firmlaunch example on his github. The arm9loaderhax.bin is YOUR payload. You provide that. Be it a CFW or whatever.
Do any CFW's actually rely on the screen init stuff? What I mean is, something like Cakes, could it be launched, without modification, even if the screen inits aren't working? Based on some problems had by others I'm guessing not, but hey you never knowRight, I'm guessing that without a payload to launch, it just shuts down. It still works. Just no visuals. So just make it autoboot. Btw, to run any cakehax payload, extract from 0x12000 onwards.Do any CFW's actually rely on the screen init stuff? and by that you mean, take the payload, start at 0x12000 and get everything from there to the end of the file, right? It still works. Just no visuals. So just make it autoboot. Btw, to run any cakehax payload, extract from 0x12000 onwards.
I mean to open it in a hex editor, go to offset 0x12000, and copy from there to the end of the file.and by that you mean, take the payload, start at 0x12000 and get everything from there to the end of the file, right?
