how do I get the original version back I have cartridge btw
If you mean vanilla ssb 3ds, just use bbm to unistall saltysd and reinstall the sm4sh 1.1.4 update. I do this because i want one for the speed and playing with others, and one for my mods.

i cant get it to work

like i want to view the duck hunt model how can i view it. am new to this

I guess i'll go to the high poly ones and texture those as well. BTW, are u referring to the GitHub On my account?
Yes, the issue is that if only the low poly ones are done, then the high poly models that load when the game is pauses will be the vanilla textures.

Through Ohana Rebirth. Make sure the normal.bch and normal.mbn are in the same folder and just open the .mbn file of a character. Note that not every character will look fine. Infact the quality ranges from barely to full. Mario is an example of not having his full model viewing properly while Captain Falcon is an example of properly loading. Fox is in an in between state.

Hey! So, I've replaced Marth's swing sound effects for his jab with the ones from Melee, and it works fine, but it appears that other sound effects get screwy. Like running or walking comes out very different, with an explosion-type sound (best way I could describe it.) Despite SFX replacement being relatively new, has anyone else experienced this, or know what the problem is? I've replaced Fox's reflector sound effect with the one from Melee as well, and his sound effects come out completely fine.
Using my audio engineering experience to answer this question. Check the original sample in the game using your audio editor. Things like the bitrate and sample rate probably need to be the same, and it could be some of your files are at different sample rates. This is just my theory, because you mentioned some sfx sound like explosions, which is usually an audio having its sample rate lowered considerably.

Hm, that could be it, but i'm just curious why Fox's sounds all stayed the same when I replaced reflector, but replacing 3 of Marth's sound effects would do that. Its only a few of Marth's sound effects doing that too, his other swings (save for his Up Aerial and Down Aerial) come out fine, so does his single jump. Definitely will try and look into the bitrate and sample rate though, and replacing one file at a time to see which one could be causing problems.

I have new info! (Unless someone else has said it :p) The separate directories (ex: Ike -> Sword) Are only when the object is not being held or used by the fighter. Ike's sword only uses its separate model during Ike's Up Special

Doesn't Ohana3dsRebirth allow for the importation of .obj files?

My system crashes whenever trying to load a custom skin, unfortunately.
Same here, but only on certain custom skins like the Marth, Mewtwo, and Charizard skins from SD_DS (although a few of his others worked for me). The others I found here seem to work fine .

Anyone know the file path for character names? I would like to change Corrins name to Kamui.

Characters names are in .tex files.(You can't really edit those yet.)
