Android Cyanogenmod 13 adding wii U pro controller support

I've just tried installing it on my shield portable but the shield rom is unstable atm.
If anyone here knows how I would love to apply this patch to Cyanogenmod 12

Will there be a way for this function to be added to stock android? I got an AT&T Galaxy S5 so I can't root or change ROMs.

If anyone would, you'd probably have to back-port it to Cm12. Official Cm12 sources haven't been worked on for a long time.
Ask your local CM12 maintainer to try adding the feature. If anyone can do it, its him.
