I don't understand why you try to mix newer and older files when you can just use the latest nightly (d2ee1bc).

The latest nightly (d2ee1bc) is the latest 3.0 beta (51703ea) + fixes : https://github.com/roxas75/rxTools/commits/master

Games for other region appear in home menu without needs of other app, but when I try boot the game the menu said me "Can't boot this card game". It only works with FMP...

As far as I know the N3DS still doesn't have full region free so you have to use FMP.

On another note, I always backup my rxTools folder and replace with a fresh copy from the latest revision along with running the python script again just in case. I always backup just in case I have issues with the latest revision and I can then revert if need be.

On my N3DS, the top screen (Data Installation Suite stuff) was blank, and I had scanlines.
But the process went fine.

On my O3DS, everything was normal with 5 squares (not 3 squares as on N3Ds), install went fine but then I got a blackscreen.
On rebooting, rxTools worked.

Well, you're already out of date. Latest version has some neat patches for o3ds TWL

NOT related to running from emunand, that I've tested. You'll still most likely need to boot into rxmode sysnand.

Since patches were changed, if you plan on playing with the DS stuff, you MUST delete the whole rxTools folder and start from scratch for this latest build. It's not just a matter of swapping out the code.bin.

What does TWL_FIRM do exactly? Enables DSiware to play from sysnand?

Edit: If so, I don't want anything installed to nand
Also, since I use MSET, I'd prefer playing DS titles from my N3DS sysnand, since that won't "unstick" MSET exploit.

all DSiware and NDS stuff uses TWL_FIRM, period. It's basically a DSi firmware modified to run on the 3DS hardware.

The latest patches got rid of some save hax checks and signature checks. So, for example, If you know how to inject other DS roms into DSiware, and you happen to have a hacked DS rom, you should now be able to play with the hacked/homebrew rom injected because of these patches.

thanks both of you, only thing i installed to NAND before seperating them was a special NAND version of DevMenu

So I can play NDS rom in emunand using the latest build or what? :/

im assuming BBM highlights it in Red and states its installed to nnand.

Because the only thing it shows installed to nand for me is the EU WEB BROWSER on my EU console dafuq

also @peteruk do you have any of the following installed to Nand when you look at your list

cross referenced with source code seems freepatch is freemultipatcher that got sent to sysnand for some reason when i restored my 3ds to other day
