They say 888 bytes but it also says NTAG215 so I'm pretty sure it's an error, but I just wanna be sure.

Yes. the description is wrong, they just copy/pasted the 216 description. they are actually 540 bytes total/504 bytes writable

Fixed. Just joking! This sounds great for those who might have accidentally bought NTAG216's thinking that they were NTAG215's or if the seller sent them the wrong ones.

NTAG215 tags are (generally) cheaper than 216 tags, so unless someone just has 216 tags lying around they should really just buy the right ones

NTAG216's have 888 bytes, unlike NTAG215's which have 540 bytes and 504 usable, which EXACTLY match amiibo dumps.

NTAG216's are also ALOT more common then NTAG215's.

I guess it would come down to whether or not you're fine with custom Amiibo or not. If not, don't release, if so, decide if that outweighs your morals on piracy

I agree, but where I live a single amiibo is very expensive almost the same price of one game.

Yes, those are the exact ones that I used. They worked great

Piracy??? Who said anything about piracy? These are Amiibo backups...in case of an EMP attack (You DO keep them in a Faraday cage, RIGHT??). Also, many of us will dump the Amiibo, modify the stats, and then write. Piracy....the nerve of some people.

You could just give it to someone and they may accidentally leak it
