if they wanted to make it 60 FPS they would have to redo every animation for every character and enemy its the same reason wind waker HD wasnt 60 FPS

For the defintive edition it's disappointing it'll run on an inconsistent 27fps-30fps so at the very least they could have locked to 30fps.

So games absolutely have to be 60fps to be playable?

No, that's not the point. Having the game going from 27fps to 30fps and vice-versa is not the smooth definitive experience I was hoping for. I wouldn't want 60fps for the mere point of being in 60fps but for the reasons I've already stated.

I played it on dolphin at 60 fps and uyou can still tell the characters animations were meant for 30 fps plus from what i have seen in the latest version of the game alot of this remaster looks better than it did on dolphin such as the temple of time

Fair enough but they could have locked the framerate to 30, 'least.

EDIT:

Cost nothing if you have a pc that can run dolphin that is.
Disappointing how you're promoting piracy regardless this is a hacking website for consoles.

It's not as if they couldn't have interpolated the animation to 60FPS. There's no reason why it couldn't have been 60 aside from it being more work.

I've never seen the appeal of 60fps nor what the deal about it is.
So what if a Remastered version of a game runs in 30fps?
Why does it matter if it's not in 60fps?
It won't take anything away from the game.

As long as we don't suffer from low framerates, no one should be complaining.

But the problem is that it's visible when the game slows down and suffers from stuttering. Is 30fps playable? Yes but could have it been better? Certainly.

All the third-person LoZ games run at 30fps or less if I remember correctly, so that's not a surprise. It's pretty crappy it dips below that, though. It looks crappier than what texture packs fans have made and doesn't even run as well as the NGC version does on a midrange PC with Dolphin.

Except that Link Between Worlds on 3DS runs at 60FPS with and without 3D Mode enabled

I wonder if they got around to cleaning up the animations. Would be funny if this still happens:

For those that don't know, it happens every time but only for a single frame. You wouldn't notice when playing but it is still funny to point it out in a video and blow minds.

Eh, who needs HD remaster when you can buy the GC/Wii version for 10-20 dollars at your local game store?
The GC version is way more expensive than that, it's like 60-100€ depending of the quality of your disc/box over here, and i own one too, but bought it at the release years ago.
