Oh I didn't know that, thanks xD !, I was reading the Definitive hacking thread and there isn't any news, that's why I thought that he was still working in MCP ...
I gave up on covering the specifics, since it really doesn't matter what stage of work he's in. The news in my OP says it should be released before March and that's all that people truly need to know lol.

I would even consider changing that to say "It will be released when it is ready" just to avoid any more of this un-needed s***posting leaking over to your awesome thread. :)

omfg fuck off.
What the heck? FusionGamer is very reasonable, but look at what you said. The exploit is probably real, but Hykem is obviously hiding something. Anyone who didn't smell a thing by now is just plain stupid.

By the way I must say that if Chinese people are working on the exploit, it would be out years ago. Look at PanGu and TaiG. But you know Wii U is not selling in China.

You're right, cause Wii U doesn't have that much interested, so you really should be happy that an advanced dev like Hykem is actually interested enough to do such time consuming work for this desperate community.

Anyone who still expresses doubt about Hykem's work, either he's just trolling and wants to bring attention, or he's the type of ignorant but still likes to speak.
Cause not only that Hykem daily filled the wiiubrew wiki with extensive documentation from his reverse engineering of the IOSU, but he actualy released two keys that were never public.
But anyway, as he said, maybe it's best he doesn't comeback to the forum till he finishes his work. I mean we do like to hear his updates, but there are so many people in the forum that aren't mature enough to understand his words.

the wiki shows hykems been poking at the Nand hmmm..... i say 2 weeks or less :) theres alot of info about the wii u on there.

by saying its fake you all are just telling hykem to keep his work to himself and other devs. he definitely know alot more about wiiu hardware then most if not 99% of you on this forum.

this is all recent changes. Now @Hykem give these guys nothing they do not deserve it!!

Instead of talking about Hykem's exploit being fake or not and turning this topic into new exploit thread I'm kinda surprised nobody here mentioned the fact the smealum managed to unbrick his wii u.

For me that sounds like great process.
I know he 'll probably won't share his methods yet since you'll probably need IOSU access to backup the nand. But hopefully after the IOSU gets released to wild (I'm 100% it will come eventually even if Hykem choses not to release it, other people will figure it out due to all the information he has shared about it) Smea will make his method public. Restoring Nand can help users if they borked their console and won't give access to piracy (at least not more after IOSU exploit has been released)

Interesting times

What's more exciting is that his "unbrickening" also allowed him direct access to the NAND chip it would seem. In his post you can see he has that doo-hickey plugged directly into his laptop for code input/output (at least I'm assuming so). Very cool stuff in deed.

You know, people should just ignore those saying it's fake. It's never worth the time, all they want is attention.

plus it's hilarious when it does get released
Yeah, it's like the peolpe that say the earth is flat. They want to feel superior to the rest of people, by knowing something that no one else does.

So looking at the leaked cafe os files games come in wumad file structure. There is leaked nintwndo software that allows you to convert apps/games to this wumad format.
Any dev with this files can technically create wumads.
So ANY application can make it into the wii u. Of course it probably needs some type of porting besides the wumad conversion.

So its official. Mugen will finally make it into the wii u

Well .wumads are just a type of image so they can be read no porting really needed aside from making a loader of course... Tho there's also WUP Images of Dev apps, one of those includes a Title Manager inside Sysconfig tool, use that to install Images or load Homenrew/ games, tho .wumad would be nice for usb
