Hacking I bought a New Nin 3ds XL that has firmware 9.9 and I got A 3ds XL with 10.5

R.I.P chances of CFW. I got softbricked and I couldn't get the internet browser or system settings to work. Had to recovery mode and update to 10.5 Sadly. I'll wait for a safer option.

set up emunand and cfw, then perform a system format on sysnand on n3ds xl (remove the tf card before you doing so).
last step, plug tf card back to 3ds, setup your formatted 3ds, then enter emunand and perform a system update.

So you're saying that I have to install Homebrew and downgrade using sysupdater then Setup EMUNand and CFW then use sysnand to do a system format and before that remove the micro sd card then put it back in after the format, set it up and enter emunand then preforming a CFW update to 10.4 CFW?

Cubic Ninja? Ocarina of Time? Own any of these titles? Ironfall might still work however on some versions you can't run without updating.
