Hacking Menuhax loader - ReiNand & Gateway question

After a lot of reading I finally got a cfw(ReiNand) to work on my 9.0 (emunand,gateway 9.5) N3DS.
gba vc games work flawlessly as was my goal to get gba to work.

Now to my question:

with both gateway and ReiNand CFW. what's the best way to set it up to boot into gateway menu/gateway mode?

Currently ds profile loads ReiNand(emunand) not gateway anymore

Currently booting my N3DS will load menuhax and auto load ReiNand on emunand 9.5

Holding R on bootup will load sysnand with nothing else.

off the top of my head im wondering if I can disable reinand boot on ds profile and reinstall vram for gateway exploit to boot gateway only from there. Or if theres a way to add gateway menu boot from menuhax/hbl/ctrbootmanager?


I was able to use OOT exploit to load into gateway menu but it's quite inconvienient to have to use OOT everytime I want to play 3ds games on gateway. Suggestions are much appriciated.

I say ctrbootmanager is the best way to boot into ReiNand. That's how I do it.

Sidequestion: No. They won't play DS games, you'd need a flashcart for that.

oh maybe i didn't specify. I do use crtbootmanager and it automatically boots reiNand.

my only issue is the accessibility of gateway menu/mode now because ds profile will launch reinand and not gateway menu as of installing cfw - so my only option right now is using the OOT exploit on my N3DS 9.0.

I'd really like another way of booting into gateway menu and I'll keep googling to find answers. Thanks

get gw.3dsx from latest gw launcher pack add it as an entry to boot config. when ctrbm is booting hold select (if you didn't change it on config). and you can select to to boot to gw mode instead of the default entry.
