Homebrew Sysupdater NDS firmware downgrade

So, I wanna make a 100% sure I don't fuck up so I'm gonna ask a question here.

I'm trying to install the 0004013800000102.cia file since my Flashcart is an Acekard2i

I'm stuck at this step:

7. Start your 3DS and go into your *hax Homebrew Channel again. Once there, open the sysupdater.3dsx app.

I've downloaded the sysupdate version mentioned in the Tutorial but it won't show up on my HBL, and I made double sure that it was there

so, my question is, can I use an updated version of sysupdater to install the 0004013800000102.cia file , or is there something I'm doing wrong and that's why the sysupdater give to me in the thread doesn't show up? thanks!

You don't use sysupdater to install this file. Just use fbi or devmenu.

you sure? I mean , I did use FBI to install the bluecardfix.cia but it absolutely says to use sysupdater, but if you think that that won't really be a problem I'd be willing to try it that way =)

but 1st i think your need to del the old file in fbi then use fbi to install it and make shur its in nand mode not sd card

I also installed that with fbi. Works fine. Sysupdater is useless hassle.

and I ended up with an error:

DESCRIPTION_INVALID_TITLE_VERSION

if it's the case I had while installing Bcfix.cia I had to delete a title first and then reinstall it, but I'm not sure which one I shall delete / replace

yeah, I got that, but what's the title Id of the NDS firmware? , as the one I deleted before was: Title ID: 0x0004800f484e4841, but I got no the NDS firmware one

Normally fbi should tell you the title is already present and offer to delete it. Then you install the modified version.

god damn it Im kind afraid to delete the file, as just like I said, when Im about to install the modified cia, the file size of the installed version is 1.78 but when I try to delete it it just shows up at 16.4, is that normal?

hahhaaha, I touched my balls for a couple of seconds(to prove myself I was a man and I shalln't be scared) and I went ahead and deleted the file and it allowed me to install the modified one hahaha

now my Acekard 2i is working again!, thanks alot for the help!
