exactly what Hiccup said, we need a damn .BYAML file editor. I wish I knew how the file format works, but I don't. Anyone with experience on this subject :-)?

A general tool for .BYMAL (and similar formats) would be very useful. Many games use it, such as:
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Super Mario 3D Land
Super Mario 3D World (initial release date: November 21, 2013.)
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (initial release date: November 22, 2013)
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
Splatoon
Super Mario Maker
Photos with Mario (initial release date: April 23, 2013)
Mario Kart 8

The lack of interest and postings in this thread disgusts me.

Btw. What about simple texture edits?
Do u think brawlbox screwed up the bone rotations somehow?
Can this tools be used for the wii u and what games use what formats?
What formats can be edited for now?
What about file size?
Did u have to make a new rom with ur model or dif u inject it via cafiine?

Not the first. I imported a green shell model from MK7 into the game as the item box.

But it disappeared sometimes and only showed at certain angles, similiar to my green brick texture hack.

U probably did not rig it into the bones of the item box

Does Blender 3D have similar process as 3DS Max?

The reasons I can't Download 3DS Max:
1: 2016 one isn't supported for my PC.
2: I tried Downloading a different Release than 2016, but it takes me to 2016 latest release page instead.

If there are any scripts need3ed, they probably are 3ds max exclusive.

Whenever I export the DAE at step 6, the DAE file is 4KB big. I tried not deleting anything and just extracting it to see if something is wrong with BrawlBox exporter. There is. It fails ti import into any 3d modelling tried (Tried sketchup, DAZ Studio 3D, Maya, and 3DS MAx). What do i do?

use a different version of brawlbox
try 67d or 68b
also
to import daes into 3dsmax there are certain settings needed in 3ds max
check brawlbox model import tutorials at forums.kc-mm.com

brawlbox only works with 3ds max
1. did u check the import settings for dae files in 3ds max for brawl models?
2. did u try importing the dae into 3ds max without using brawlbox?
3. are you clicking on the mdlo, right click and than export as dae in brawlbox?
4. i just extracted a dae file from brawlbox and it had a size of 15kb, are u sure your dae file is not corrupt before importing to brawlbox?

also the first step requires for you to delete the bones of your new model being imported, not the original file being replaced
a dae file requires obj, skin/rig, and bones to function properly in its final form

Last edited by Don Jon,
What Texture Names do the two hand files use @Toad Stool ? I want to replace them with completely transparent models to make the gloves go away, since my model looks ugly with them...

EDIT: and how did you extract those animations you included as a download? I want to be able to edit mini mario's models now Never mind, those Animations work for mini mario as well
