1. obtain rom of Super Mario Advance 4 (v1.1) hint (theres a release by trashman of 1.1, good luck)
   
2. get lunarips
3. get patch
4. run lunar ips and choose apply ips
5. select patch
6. select rom
7. profit

for xdelta replace lunar ips with deltapatcher and download the xdelta patch instead

it literally took me about 10 minutes to get it done

you probably tried to patch the 1.0 rom, get the Trashman 1.1 rom.

Thank you guys for working so hard on this. It works on a supercard dstwo flash cart using tempgba with the ips patch that was posted. Will put this on everything else that i have.

you probably tried to patch the 1.0 rom, get the Trashman 1.1 rom.

Set the save type to Flask 128K. It's picky just like the Pokémon games are.

Thanks for this, it was much needed! I tested with an EZ Flash IV on a 101 GBA SP, after patching the v1.1 rom and copying the provided game save, everything runs fine without save file corruption.

Use the ez IV patcher to patch the save type after applying the ips patch. I also had better results when putting the dummy save file the ez IV patcher creates into the saver folder on the ez IV.
