i repair a lot of PC's around me / friends in france, never saw a 32bit system in like... 6-7 years wow :x. and even back then, a lot of people had win7 with 64 bits, 32bits lasted like half a year or little more after win7 came out, after that, all laptop and desktop where 64 bits, thats surprising to see a lot of 32 bits still exist !

broadwell is a nice option if you need better onboard gpu performance.

But overclocks bad and performance will be the same as haswell if both are oc. At stock speed, haswell is better than broadwell.

Skylake oc bad too. Performance will be 5% better than haswell if you get a good oc.

So, changing from haswell to broad or sky expecting better emulation performance, is waste money and if you are not careful, you can get lower performance too.

Last edited by trihy,
if anything i would just go for Skylake, why go for an older model if they are about the same prices amirite
yeah but you have to change your mainboard too, cause skylake only supports 1151 socket mainboards, so if you have a haswell or broadwell chip you need to pay for a new mainboard as well if you wanna upgrade.

yeah i just thought about the same, i just looked up the broadwell processors and they have poopy clocks, even my current cpu is clocked higher

Any news? Thanks.

@Exzap I think you should change the ''No audio support'' on cemu's website FAQ :)

Dude, stop nagging for news and let the man do his thing when he can. Whenever there's some news, they will appear right here. No, a magical cemu build with 60fps for all 3D games won't happen overnight, even less in a couple of weeks.

Dude. He means us. @TR_mahmutpek is asking GBATEMP not exzap... he also gave him a pointer on the website. CHILL.

P.S. @TR_mahmutpek you're fine... and we're still waiting for 1.3.1!

Can someone estimate how many FPS I'll get?
FX 8320
GTX 960
8GB duel channel ram
no bullshit running in the background when playing cemu

Dude. He's been double posting and asking exzap for weeks, nothing new here. Even the website note about audio was mentioned to him previously.

12-15fps.

5-10, Cemu is not meant for gaming yet. I have much higher specs than yours and I can't play anything seriously.

fair enough. I can run any game at medium settings 1366x768 so I'm happy, no need to spend $400 on an i7 when you can get a decent AMD one for $150.
You need to wait maybe 2 years to be able to game decently on this emu. Dolphin started like this. But do not be afraid, in time, this will be probably be the reference Wii U emulator.

no broadwell was a tiny update with worse performance in terms of speed the 4790k beats skybender also
You're comparing the latest Haswell chip to the earliest of either chips, of course performance will be comparatively worse. Compare the 4770 to the 5775C or 6700K and suddenly it's a different story. I was saying that of the two technological advancements from the Haswell family, Broadwell is more of a leap while Skylake is a hop. You're already running pretty thin on credibility when it comes to your knowledge of computers, I would be careful throwing around bullshit statistics without backing up your claims if I were you
