What Nintendo did with 3DS? I'm not familiar with the hacking scene.

Guys, he didn't say it would be by the end of Feb when he will release it...he simply said his "vacations" have been extended to the end of Feb. Odds are, that means he has more time to work on the exploit and able to get it out soon(er). If he's not at his job, he's got more time to work on the exploit. Give the guy some more time. You got to admit, he's done a lot for the community as it is. Sure, he's delayed it, but at least his Twitter post showed he's making progress....5.5.1 wasn't even OUT when he announced his exploit, so instead of releasing it for 5.5.0, he's probably putting some final touches on the 5.5.1 version and maybe even going to do like the 3DS and let you update from an SD card or USB drive rather than having to use the Nintendo servers, that way if 5.5.2 or 6.0 comes out in the future, having 5.5.1 firmware on hand or downloadable will make it possible to keep you on an exploitable firmware

Gotcha! Sorry, I just wanted to annoy everybody a little. I believe it's fair after being called everything around here. "Clown" and "king of vapourware" were top notch, congrats on the insults!
For all the others, rest assured, I'm not rage-quitting nor stopping anything. I ran into personal issues that kept me away from the internet, that's all. You'll still get your exploit as promised. I'm not wasting more time on the possible boot exploit as I've decided to chase that only after releasing what I have. I'm currently working on obfuscating it for which naehrwert gave me some "funky" ideas. It will take some time to implement, but my "vacations" have been extended up to the end of February.
To compensate for the delay, expect some nice things. Check my twitter feed in about 10 minutes to understand what I'm talking about.

Could someone or Hykem himself please elaborate what exactly that means? He first says that he will deal with the boot exploit after he released what he has. Does that mean that the release of the IOSU exploit is now imminent and then he will use his extended vacations after the release to deal with the boot exploit? That's what I read out of his message. And then, what thing does he mean with "obfuscating it" (sry no native speaker ) and "implement"? If this "it" is the boot exploit, I thought he would work on it after the release of the exploit, so why the delay? It would be nice if someone could clear this for me Also Hykem if you read this, please continue your good work, I'm really looking forward to using Cafiine and TCPGecko again to dump music and other stuff and to mod games a bit

Wow. We should really thank hykem a lot. He absolutely have a LOT of patience, I would never release an exploit after all of the spam/s**t/offensive messages that he received. (Hykem, if you read this message, THANK YOU A LOT for yourd hard work. Don't care about offensive people)
