If I have a NNID not linked either to sysnand or emunand and didn't accept the EULA on either NAND, what would be the best, safest and most update proof method of enjoying the benefits of a NNID? Or is it not recommended to even link one?

@Aroth
need your help again
Code:
make[1]: *** No rule to make target 'launcher'. Schluss.
Makefile:58: recipe for target 'out/ReiNand.dat' failed
make: *** [out/ReiNand.dat] Error 2

sorry bothering you with it

When that happens, that means one of your folders is empty. Make sure you download all other repositories that are linked to Reinand's repository and put them in the right folders. Also, note that any other repository you downloaded may also be linked to another repository as well.

To get GBA games working in Emunand I have to install them in sysnand as well right?

What is the patched gba firm I've seen mentioned?

Cheers

Yes.

The patched emunand is required if you want to play custom made GBA vc games. If you only plan to play the original 10 ambassador games, then you do not need it.

Quick question. Is there any way to install games to both location from within emuNAND? In other words, do I have to be in sysNAND to install these CIAs or, can I use an app in emuNAND to install them from there to both places?

If you want to install to sysnand, you have to load sysnand to do it. My suggestion is to use GW sysnand mode if you have the red card, if not use minipasta.

thanks, that was the answer - recloned git, then it worked.

I still had to google to get armips linux, because @Reisyukaku 's linked armips is for windows

Meeeeen, finally

Thanks. In sysNAND, they have to be installed in SD, not NAND, right?

Is there a pre-build reinand 3.0 without the splash? I am dropping rxtools like a rock since I end up using separate tools anyways, so reinand is ideal, just looking for the fastest original looking boot possible =)

Thinking about it now it's likely just as safe putting a black 1kb black splash bin in place right? I doubt boot speed is impacted much including the code to load the splash.

Slightly out of the loop but how do you access Reinand's sysnand mode? I used to hold b and press start on the reinand splash screen but now it just jumps through the splash screen and loads emunand.

If you're using 3.0, it was removed.

I think it's out, unless you custom build it with that included. I just use the themehax hold R trigger to boot sysnand before even touching any launchers or reinand.

Edit: Beaten lol

Thanks to both of you, I need something to boot sysnand (devmode?) that allows GBA games to run. I'll try and locate the old version.
