EDIT: Did it a second time, pressed A, it did nothing. Exited to home menu. Mii Maker is still normal.

Don't want to spam or interrupt testing, but for those who prefer MP4s:I could not find gc-to-vpad working on any site stated here so I compiled myself. Tested on 5.4.0E with MarioKart 8
To get it working you need to start kernel and then this one (just navigate to the gc-to-vpad folder on your server. it will start automatically)

Took me a few more tries but I finally got it working. It also seems that if you go into the System Settings, the GameCube controller no longer works.Tested it again and got it working four times in a row...
But at the first boot of my Wii U today I wasn't able to run any code too. Fixed it by removing the disc in the drive and loading a 'big' webpage before loading homebrew in a new tab
