Homebrew [WIP] SafeSysUpdater

I've just softbricked, BSOD here. I restore it trough recovery mode and i'm retrying.
I've heard about a "FTP trick", what is it and could it help?

Okay, ran into yet another problem.
9.2 is all fine without the SD card in. Even if I put it in when it's on, it doesn't work. What do I do?

Your SD card should work O.o
And I believe you had to do the ''Intialize data'' at the browser to access pages and stuff like that.

Didn't you said your able to load ftbrony? Also would be usefull to know what firmware you were on. Else you should always be able to update in recovery if you had a working connection and no tubehax dns.

eshop doesnt load, system settings doesnt load and it fails updating in recovery

what are my options?

Try it at least 15 times before giving up. I read somewhere it might be updating 1 cia at a time so you have to keep doing it till the corrupt one gets updated.

My n3ds xl zelda gold cant downgrade always ends up on a franken firmware. This fucking blows my n3ds japan downgraded on the first try. I hope gateway has 10.3 support soon Because thats all i can do now just wait

If you really can't do anything you should maybe update to 10.3 and try your sdcard on 10.3.

I think everyone should update to 10.3. and then downgrade.

I had the same problems with my o3ds xl with FW 10.2. and n3ds xl with firmware 9.8.

After update to 10.3. i had no problems to downgrade.

I think this is quite possibly fixable if you can get into recovery. I don't know what to do though, someone else will

Downgraded mine on 10.1

Its still unknown to me why and when it (soft) brick, but most of them are from a downgrade with fw < 10.3.

Updated my brand new n3dsxl to 10.3, formatted and downgrade went through on my 4th attempt. Everything seems well, a big thank you to everyone involved in this!

any homebrew run, but sysupdate show round about 30 try black screen!
any idea?

softbricked my n3ds xl

cant update it via recovery either, hoping its just because servers are down
