Hey there. Just installed a gba game on my o3ds it's a rom hack Pokémon firered omega but each time i save my progress and re-start the game i get an error "The save data was corrupted continuing from previous save file"
Though it doesn't really affect my save file it more annoys me. Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea how to fix it?

That sounds like a poorly converted cia.

You can't fix it other than recreating the cia.
Ah fine then
By the way gba games aren't VC they are in gba system firmware right?

And how long does the 3ds battery last when in gba mode

Some games in the GBA check the savegame file size of the savegame.

If the filesize doesn't match the size that the original game savefile gives this error message since it thinks it has been corrupted.

Is not really a VC game, is basically a backwards compatibility mode.
