Change your DNS settings to not auto obtain, and manually set them to the tubehax DNS.

Use the Tubehax DNS on any network you join to prevent from connecting to Nintendo's update servers.

you hold A UP (on D-pad) and L and R at the same time AS your 3DS is terning on and it well say wode u like to update? JUST SAY NO and your 3ds well stop as long as your dns is blocking nintendo
