The userland exploit was likely patched in the web browser, but the kernel exploit which is different is likely still not patched. In other words: keep waiting. Maybe we'll get a release for 5.4.0 and up when the NX releases!

But it is that simple because 5.4 has the same kernel exploit as 5.3.2. If the stagefright-based web browser userland hack was patched in 5.5.1 and is released for 5.4-5.5 because of that, 5.4 then will have userland+kexploit = spoof/loadiine/etc. -> same as 5.3.2 now pretty much (assuming spoofing to 5.5.1 is still possible).

Hi guys . I have important question to ask . my friend want to buy a mario maker bundle Wii u that's of course comes with digital download game on it . He would buy this at really awesome price wants to know if he buy and enter eshop and download game and updates all his chance to 5.5 hack ( will release later ) will be lost ?
2 -If we say , we are in 5.5.0 and wants to play mario maker originally ( digital copy ) with console without internet connection , Does Nintendo let us play it ? or should be update whetever latest firmware to play mario maker ?
3 - Does this essential updates to latest version for play mario maker include all other old games like yoshi woolly world too ?

I think the current question is if specifically the LibStagefright userland exploit would be released so that people on 5.4.0 who already have access to a previously inaccessible kernel exploit could benefit from it
